7/13/2018 Lonzo Ball, LAL, PG
The Lakers announced that Ball will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Analysis: It's not a major procedure and Ball should be ready to go by the time training camp starts. Issues with the same knee limited the 2017 No. 2 overall pick to 52 games during his rookie season, and the Lakers recently added veteran point guard Rajon Rondo as insurance.
7/13/2018 Kenneth Faried, Bkn, F-C
The Nuggets have traded Faried, forward Darrell Arthur and a protected 2019 first-round pick to the Nets for guard Isaiah Whitehead. Brooklyn will also receive a 2020 second-round pick as part of the deal.

Analysis: It's purely a cost-cutting move for the Nuggets after the team handed out big new contracts to Nikola Jokic and Will Barton. Faried, due $13.8 million in the final year of his contract, could be a buyout candidate and likely won't factor much into the rebuilding Nets' plans should he stay on the roster.
7/9/2018 Marvin Bagley III, Sac, PF
There won't be any more basketball for No. 2 pick Marvin Bagley III in Summer League, as the Sacramento Kings announced that an MRI revealed a pelvic bone bruise.

Analysis: The Kings said Bagley would rest for a week or two.
7/7/2018 Devin Booker, Pho, G
The Suns and Booker have agreed to a five-year, $158 max extension that will keep the high-scoring guard under contract through the 2023-2024 season.

Analysis: The 13th overall pick of the 2016 draft, Booker has averaged 19.8 points per game over his first three seasons and averaged a career-high 24.9 points while shooting 38 percent from 3-point range in 2017-18. Even with the arrival of No. 1 overall pick DeAndre Ayton, Booker should have no problem getting shots or providing fantasy value through the length of the deal provided he stays healthy.
7/5/2018 Nik Stauskas, Por, G-F
Stauskas is officially a member of the Trail Blazers, after signing his one-year, $1.6 million contract.

Analysis: Portland will be Stauskas' fourth team in his five NBA seasons. He's a career 35 percent 3-point shooter and averaged 4.4 points in 41 games last season for Philadelphia and Brooklyn.
